书接上回，李鸣吓孟达不成反被吓了一跳后，撑着椅子一时还不太反应得过来。孟达看李鸣这个样子，倒是没心没肺地笑了起来，李鸣看到孟达笑，刚才被吓时的惊恐一下子消散了一大半，孟达一边笑，一边断断续续地说：“老师，你不禁吓就不要吓别人嘛，这多不好呀，把人都吓死啦，哈哈哈哈哈哈。”李鸣的脸上顿时挂不住了，想赶紧开始找点事来做来掩饰自己的窘迫。李鸣找了半天，这才从抽屉里找出他昨天打印好的文件拿给孟达，说：“这是有关少年科技比赛的介绍和一些基础的科学知识，你好好看看，看完了再找我拿，我们尽快确定个课题，早点做好早有把握。”孟达听到比赛后才停止了笑，从李鸣的手中接过文件，开始仔细看了起来，孟达一页一页翻过去，眼睛在一行一行间跳动，李鸣看着孟达的样子，他不由得也想起了他当年的样子，想当年他也是这般的少年壮志，满腔热血，看着孟达，他不由得觉得当年未做到的事也许今日能做到了。
正当他怀念的时候，一声老师把他从回忆与憧憬中拖了回来，他还以为是孟达想问他问题，正打算接过来解答，孟达却说：“老师，我看完了，还有其他书吗？”李鸣一脸的不可置信，要知道这份文件里可不只是介绍，还有大量的基础知识，孟达这么快就看完了，他是不信的，“看完了，这么快？”孟达点点头，李鸣还是不敢相信，便随手翻开一页，指着一个知识点说：“那你给老师说一下这个地方是讲什么的。”孟达扫了一眼，说：“这是讲万有引力的，就是说我们现在站在地上就是因为有万有引力。”李鸣这下子算是服了，他不由得在心里感叹道真是一代更比一代强啊，现在的小朋友真是太可怕了。

tinuing from the previous chapter，after Li Ming’s attempt to scare Meng Da backfired，he g to his chair，momentarily uo react.Meng Da，seeing Li Ming’s state，laughed heartily，his laughter iious and light-hearted.Upon seeing Meng Da’s laughter，the terror Li Mi from being scared earlier dissipated signifitly.As Meng Da laughed，he said iween giggles，”Teacher，if you’re easily scared，then you shouldn’t try to scare others.It’s not good，you could literally scare someoo death，hahahahaha.”Feeling embarrased，Li Ming quickly rummaged through his drawers，trying to find something to fo to hide his disfort.After a moment，he finally found a dot he had printed out the day before and ha to Meng Da，saying，”This is an introdu to the Youth Sd Teology petition，as well as some basic stifiowledge.Take a good look at it，and when you’re done，e bae for more.We o decide on a project topic soon so that we start preparing early and increase out ces of succees.”Meng Da stopped laughing when he heard about the petition and took the dot from Li Ming ，carefully examining it.As Meng Daflipped through the pages，his eyes sing each line，Li Ming watched him and couldn’t help but recall his own youthful ambitions and passions.Looking at Meng Da， he felt that maybe the unfinished goals of his youth could be achieved today.
While he was lost in nostalgia，a voice calling“teacher” brought him back from his reveire.Assuming that Meng Da had a question for him，Li Ming was about to answer when Meng Da said，”Teachser，I’ve finished reading.Do you have any other books?”Li Ming looked incredulous.The dot tained not only an introdu but also a signifit amount of basiowledge，and he doubred that Meng Da could have finished reading it quickly.”You’ve finished?So soon?”Meng Da nodded，but Li Ming remained skeptical.He flipped to a random page and poio a knowledge point，asking，” you tell me what this part is about?”Meng Da gla it and replied，”This is about the law of universal gravitation.It explains why we stand on the ground，thanks to grativity.”Li Ming was impressed and couldn’t help but marvel at the younger geion’s strength.Ihe youth of today are truly remarkable.
